This Roaster is suitable for smaller bakes using the Small or Medium Oval Banneton or Round Banneton. I have experimented with the Small & Medium Oval Bannetons & found the results for loaf size to be very similar - the extra height in the smaller banneton settles to provide a larger loaf than expected.
