These unassuming tools are so handy I have four. I use them for everything during bread baking scraping dough off; my fingers, the bowls, the counter, and washing the bowls. They are very good for sticky dough kneading where they become my hands, and just scraping the final shaped dough off the counter into the Banneton or tray.
My hubby uses them while he is making his heavy fruit cakes and many other little jobs.
